Kid Cadaver is a 3 piece band from LA, currently in Koreatown by way of the Valley. I first met them almost exactly a year ago, at a dimly lit show at the Echo, where the sound guy could've done a better job. But the band had me hooked anyway, so I kept coming back to their shows, every single one I could bus to, until at some point we became friends. Eventually, in September 2015 they took me on tour with them up the West Coast for 10 days where we spent every waking hour together, driving for hours on end in their van, sleeping on floors, heading to new cities every night, and getting to know one another in the most unintentional way.
Their music is rhythmic like a heavy current, and infectious like the dancefloor. At their shows you'll sing along to every lyric like you're fifteen again, and their energy gets you moving to their synthetic waves without you even realizing it. After the show though, stick around to meet the dudes. They're some of the most down-to-earth people I've met in my (albeit short) time wandering through LA's music scene. Vibrant on stage, humble behind the scenes, and passionate all around. Needless to say, I'm more than thrilled to be celebrating the good vibes with them.
