Last night, we relaunched Beating Lights with a party, and it was insane! Around 150 people came through with good vibes only to connect, support local bands, check out local brands, make new friends, and just have a good night. The crew was the tightest, featuring some of my favorite friends on the team, not to mention Space 15 Twenty was an absolutely sweet place to be gathering everyone in. We had music from my good friends in Kid Cadaver and Coyote, pop ups by Touch Vinyl, Hours Lost and Riot Grill, artworks by Mallory Turner and Nicole Ellsworth, and DJ Grant Owens of We Found New Music was on the deck all night. It was a dance party meets kickback meets gallery show meets social mixer meets your best friend's birthday. Basically, it was lit.
Gathering people around live music is what I love, collaborating with other creatives is what I thrive on and the friendships that are created along the way are my adrenaline. I simply can't wait to see what 2016 has in store for Beating Lights.
Thanks for the support, friends. Thanks for sticking around.
See you around town,
Shab // Founder
