Saturday night Beating Lights threw its first house party, in the spirit of Coachella and anyone who wasn't going to it. The boys in StaG kindly offered their house for the night, and the place could not have been more perfect. We had live music by StaG, WASI and Sympahtetic Frequencies,who all played such fun sets it was impossible to stand still! PACK-A-BOWL was selling food in the kitchen (fried chicken and vegan options included!), people were face painting in the front yard, and the vibes were only good. I love putting on events like this, where the casual atmosphere allows for so much more community and conversation. Where people can gather and connect with new faces and spaces, and catch some live music on top of it all.
